Cornerstone Crane & Safety Training is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date training per OSHA and ASME standards. We strive to be as informative and thorough as possible. Our classes are purposely kept small so that we can tailor them to each individual’s needs. We make sure that each individual understands the concepts being taught before proceeding.

Although we are based in Lubbock, Texas, we will gladly customize a training session for your group at your location. Please inquire about what is involved and whether it is possible for your company.

OSHA Qualified Training

For: Services Truck Crane Operator
Forklift Operator QualificationRigger/Signal Person

Cornerstone’s selection of qualified courses is designed for those looking to expand their knowledge and skill in one of three positions: Service Crane Truck Operator, Forklift Operator, and Rigging/Signal Person. They cover the knowledge needed to safely and properly perform the many tasks required of a certified technician. These courses are built to adhere to the OSHA, ASME, and ANSI standards, which will help to properly prepare an operator or rigger/signaler to do their job safely and correctly. OSHA 1926.1400 requires that persons who work with cranes or forklifts receive training and testing to qualify as competent.

Becoming a qualified operator, rigger, or signal person makes you more marketable and often leads to a higher pay rate. As an employer, having properly trained and Qualified personnel makes your job site safer for everyone working around moving loads.

Once training is completed, Cornerstone will provide each passing student with a Qualification Card that’s valid for 3 years as proof of completed training.

Classes will be either 2 days or a 5-day class. No matter what option is chosen, written exams will be conducted on the Friday of class week.

5-day class is more designed for Indvidual’s looking to get certified for the first time (meaning they need the written and practical exams)

2-Day

The 2-Day Class is an option for people who have a lot of experience and need to add an additional certification, need the practical and written exams, or might have let their certification expire.

This is a good option for students looking to recertify their current certification and just need a couple of days of prep for the written exams.

The À La Carte option for those needing to recertify. Individuals can choose how many days of prep they would like.

Brock Nelson

Brock Nelson has worked in the crane and rigging industry for the last 26 years. During the last 15 years, Brock has been an NCCCO instructor and safety advisor. He has dedicated his life to helping others achieve their goals & dreams of being a certified crane operator. With safety at the forefront of everything he teaches, he strives to make sure that when you leave his class you are confident in your abilities and understand how to operate a crane safely. His personable hands-on approach to teaching sets him apart from other instructors. He is an NCCCO practical examiner in the following categories: LAT, TLL, TSS, Tower & Overhead crane as well as a Signal Person.
